Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Your 14-day trial starts immediately with full access to all features. We only ask for payment details when you choose a plan after the trial.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept iDeal, credit cards and bank transfers. You can also pay with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel at any time from your billing settings. No cancellation fees. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export it.
Is my data hosted in Europe?
Yes. All data is stored on Hetzner servers in Germany and Finland. Ascend HR is a Dutch company under EU jurisdiction and is not subject to the US CLOUD Act.
What happens if I exceed my user limit?
You'll be notified when you're approaching your plan's user limit. You can upgrade to the next tier at any time, the price difference is prorated.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer invoices for VAT purposes?
Yes. All plans include automatic invoicing with Dutch BTW/VAT applied where applicable. Invoices are available in your billing dashboard.
