Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Ascend HR you agree to these terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. What we provide

Ascend HR is a cloud-based talent management platform available as a monthly subscription. We may update the service from time to time and will give you at least 30 days' notice of any changes that meaningfully affect how you use it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in Euros, excluding VAT. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. (Netherlands).

You can cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, we keep your data available for 30 days so you can export it, then delete it. We don't offer refunds for unused time except where required by Dutch law.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't use Ascend HR to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation
  • Process employee data without a lawful basis under GDPR
  • Attempt to access parts of the service you're not authorised for
  • Reverse-engineer or copy the service for a competing product

6. Liability

We provide Ascend HR as-is. We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, though we work hard to keep it running well.

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, our liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the three months before any claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the courts of the Netherlands. EU consumers can also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
